I’m not being drawn into this again. I’m quite content to just sit on my throne of knowledge and look down upon you as an intelectual peasant.

You wouldn't think that there must be a shortage of hotel rooms between Leicester and Derby?

I fitted one of those T2 spare wheel carriers to the front of my old T2, to free up internal space, and you had to mount it so that the weight of the wheel was borne by the bumper beneath. I would be wary of fitting the same to a T4 without such support??

If you look at the spare wheel carrier for the Synchro, it's an elaborate affair.

Most type 2's do not rely on the bumper to support the spare wheel. It will also have a plate insde the door as reinforcement.

5x112,I've checked it all out and the only change I may have to make is longer carrier bolts for the wheels I "might" buy

Don't know why but I really fancy these alloys.

I know I said steels but finding a good set of Vito 17's is proving a challenge. I'll chew on it for a week or 2 before I give me head a wobble and buy em
