But no, not TRX...tempted by them though.
Rob was sort of closer but also way wide of the mark with 'R6' - besides it's not really a 90's bike
So....oddball styling, 1990s Yamaha....

I was fond of the TDR250's and almost bought one once. Had a go on my mates and it was like riding a pogo stick.
I still look at them on ebay now.. and if they were Ā£2k I might be tempted but for the money they fetch now... no thank you. You can get a much nicer bike for that money.

This particular yam never sold well in any region that I am aware of, had serious potential but the woeful styling (and tepid power) killed it dead in the water...

Look past the horrendous bodywork, there's a good bike underneath.
Yet another bike that the engine got designed from one side only, the right side looks quite clean and the left side is a mess, the buell was the same and the ducati is bad, it's like the engine designers did there thing without realising there were a whole heap of pipes and stuff that needed to go somewhere, so they just bung it on the left hand side and only ever take photos of the right hand side. Look at the state of that odd sump/oil tank/cooler thing. urgh!Last edited by regcheeseman; 1 May 2021, 12:32 PM.
