Can anyone please advise me of the best place to put the leisure battery?, I'm going to have a split charging system, a battery charger to top it up when we're on 240v,many thanks

I put mine in the back under the rock and roll bed as far to the left hand side as possible to try and sort the offset weight bias we have in our campers to the right hand side.

Others fit a double battery tray under the bonnet. Others stick it under one of the front seats.

Depends a bit on your layout/build.

Mine is behind the passenger seat, boxed in and forms kind of a perching stool has a little storage in it and is a mount for my inverters and charge controller.

If I did it all again Andreas I wouldn't of bothered. I've never used the 110Ah leisure battery or hooked anything upto it!

Engine bay - if you've got the space, use it!

No that you can see from the pictures but I ran my wiring under the inside floor. Under the van mat at the front just off centre to the left so it was in a low traffic area.

Looking good mate - that red has come up lovely.

If the awning rail came with screws, do yourself a favour and through them in the bin! They'll snap as soon as your start to put any pressure on them - pilot hole or not. Get yourself some stainless steel ones from Screwfix or similar.
