I've a nasty feeling about this van, worried about what'll be left when it actually gets delivered, got a phonecall saying they had to cut the tailgate off - I hate it when scrappys take stuff apart - no common sense. I've resigned myself to the fact they'll ruin a good loom at the very least.

Don't worry tho I can handle it being a posh scouser rather than a scally.

Sooooo - broke my van again.
Noticed it was smelling a bit the other day, when I got home wisps of smoke were coming out of the bonnet.
Thankfully it was just a seal on the breather.
With the van laid up waiting for a new seal I took it apart a bit to fit a towbar
That grinder looks ominous....
Why the hell would I need to chop off the tow eye?
Surely you don't need to do that to fit a towbar - perhaps there's more shenanigans afoot?
At least the underside is still good
First job is to fit the wiring - thankfully they provided me with a fitting kit
Cheap scotchlocks give me a bit of a moment and I had to have a bit of a sit down.
Needless to say, I wont be using them and set about hybriding the new wiring into the existing loom, using the original sheathing and gromit so no dodgy rust prone holes butchered into my van!
That's enough for today.
