    Yeah seen some with a nice big offset (need big offset to flip the rim) but too much of a radius on the face can foul the front edge of the calipers, the rim itself will clear. Your 16s would have just fitted but the rear of the face of the wheel hit the caliper.

          Nope these are nicer than van 1's with a wider spoke and the centre is larger plus the offset widths would work nicely....

            • TTV produce an 8 bolt D5252T 240mm/28 SMF and a 228mm/28 VAG 6 bolt SMF.
              They do a lot of reverse engineering so I'm backing this as my way forward, that gives us a ton of plate and pressure plate upgrade options.
              Plus its reusable in the potential upgrade gearboxes 02M etc.

              The Mk1 TTs 150/180 were using a 228mm28 6 bolt in an 02M gearbox.

              VW/Audi 02M gearbox adaptor plate but for a Renault F4R, F7P, F7R or C1J engine block.

                My sources say 228 - at least for the national and comline versions

                Still on power map and wearing light shoes.

                Whats the spec/cost on the TTV options - I've a week off second week of Feb and will do the swap then so need to order by the end of next week.

                  I've just ran my airmass calculator on your map and its 199bhp & 365ft/lb torque / 146KW & 495Nm.

                    If its 228mm then great but its still designed for 65KW / 88bhp max, not 146KW / 199bhp - whats the contact area on these?
                    Made in China.....

                    I have no idea on the cost from TTV but I've specced it to 600Nm Stage 2 , and a 800Nm Stage 3.

                      It's a borg and beck even if it can't take the strain - I'd at least have a flywheel that I could fit a fast road/kevlar clutch and HD pressure plate too. At least in theory - the same as the theory you had for the valeo option?
                      Tempted to buy the techniclutch fast road setup at the same time and see if the two will fit.

                      Let me know if to get any info regarding the TTV option.

                              Do you know if there's enough room in the bell housings to fit a 240mm SMF? Both the Volvo D5252T and AEL used 240mm/28 with their respective gearboxes.

                              TPS quoted me a flywheel on exchange this morning (don't need an identical swap![emoji6]). 2 in the UK for next day delivery £88 & £477 for the complete clutch.

                              Its Borg & Beck then , I think they're rebranding according to their website so it may be old packaged stock.
