I have a more suitable project for them...
What's the project and why shouldn't I do similar? I'm thinking more boost and more fuel (with suitable studs), how far before you hit the limits of the head flow/cam?
And gearboxes - you found any good options here, I've been looking at 6 speeders on an adaptor plate but is a T5 box an option?
If the maps give a voltage that equates to a volume injected, I take it that wouldn't change the volume injected for a given voltage because the voltage only effect the piston travel distance and thus volume?
If the break pressure is higher, you should run more advance to compensate, would it go that far that the ECU goes into limp because of too much advance?

I'd want back what they owe me in parts so maybe not an option

New turbo will be required Reg, the Volvo unit can go a little further, but you'll need the larger injectors for the fuel and a completely new remap.
No current idea on the head and/or cam limits.
Standard has got to be good for 280-300bhp (shadowmakers results, but I cannot remember exact spec.)
The maths support his 280-300bhp @ 28-32psi.
Both the Volvo 5 speed gearbox or the ACV Quaiffe unit were used with clutch upgrades.
Dan or the T17 guys might be more insightful.

Having looked at the gearing on a 6 speed its only fractionally better than the 5th gear mods on the 02B.
The torque is so high I can live with the 5 speed but needs to be beefed up.
Cost wise I'm looking at the proven D5252T Volvo engine, clutch and gearbox. I cannot justify Ā£2-3k's worth of gearbox experiments!

I've rewritten the fuel maps and the nine start of injections maps up to 0.24 injectors to date.... and 85mg/s.
Just working on the 0.26's to match my 12mm pumphead upgrade to 99mg/s.

Any further feedback on the current map or plans to do another logrun?
Any suggestions for clutch upgrades?
