Engine and gearbox are separate, ordered gearbox mount from eBay, third of the price of euro car parts

Hope it's not even worse than euro, I'd normally avoid their tat - CP4L for me and always known brands.

Whatever floats your boat dude, just bring the engine over after you've done.

                        I'm out at 12.

ECP and CP4L are the same company, owned by the same guy, selling the same stuff, their websites used to be identical with different colours and logo.

Unfortunately pricing isn't consistent, usually cp4l is cheaper but sometimes ECP is.

Little trick for undoing the flywheel bolts - pressure plate bolt in the fly wheel, gearbox mount bolt in the block and a 13mm spanner jammed between both

Having got this off, I thought of a few more bits mr sausages..... be sensible to fit a new crank seal under the flywheel and the flywheel should have new bolts - did the flywheel and clutch kit you got have them?

Engine stripped a bit, aircon compressor and water pump pulley removed

Another tip for removing these pulley bolts - if you go in with an allen key, chances are they round off, and you're into a heap of misery; what you need to do is go in hard from the off, get the impact driver and a big hammer and belt 7 bells out of it. All pulleys came off fine.

Can't believe how small this turbo is, it's set low on the block, not sure how well it will fit in the T4, might clock the cold side of the turbo to send the pipework out to the intercooler a better way

Need some proper blanking plates for the EGR - it'll be a lot cleaner with the whole lot removed, look at the crap that's built up in the manifold - eurghh!

Dave, have you got a bunch of coolant pipes and intercooler pipes still up at the workshop, the coolant pipe setup is quite different to the T4 - could do with them to see what sort of setup to run.
