Aux Belt tensioner was seized solid. I had to drop the engine down and wrestle it out. Stripped it down replaced seals and regreased.

I couldn’t get the rear brakes to bleed properly so suspected the brake compensator was seized. Took it out and replaced with a genuine part. Brakes now bleeding.

Started on the bodywork for paint. Rubbed down the roof and went for Raptor in white applied with a roller.

Finished off the insulation and cut out the ply from the Alto floor.

Joined the VeeDub hand painted on Facebook and decided to do the whole off the van in Rustoleum Satin Black with a roller. Sanded down the whole of the van in 500 grit and done some filler repairs

                          Went on great

I’m going to put the leisure battery under the bonnet so made a tray from some leftover 2mm.

An excellent set of photo's Paul - appreciated.

Do you reckon it is possible to get to the internals of the regulator and rebuild it if required, or is it a sealed unit and overhauling simply limited to washing it out via the ports?

BTW where did you find that comprehensive JP bag of gear linkage bushes? I've never come across a complete kit before.
