With our weekend trip looming I need to push on and make the van more comfortable. Instead I went shopping for side bars.



I have also done my knackers in on a double din stereo and a couple of amps....and a sub. ....and some more speakers.....and tweeters...and cables. Thank goodness Mrs FA is the understanding type
These will take ages to fit and I don't have the time right now so I have finished a few other jobs instead.

Remember this? A quick sand up and refit the the speakers and freshly painted grilles and it looks like this.




Back in the van the tailgate now close easier with the correct weight.

The boxes are now finished, except for the hinges. When I find the ones I want I will swap them.




The space below the speaker will soon be filled with another speaker and a tweeter too.

Had to remove the coffe sack seat covers because somebody complained they are itchy. So the lidl 16euro ones are on. Not brilliant but for the money they are fair enough and as the saying goes, happy wife - happy life.
