Well you're in luck. I'm a really tight bastard. Hate spending money, more so when I can't see value. I too loath the very idea of scene tax.


Carcas is in for the chest. Secured using four screws it should act as a kind of stress member and give the unit strength.

As you can probably gather, the worktop will split in half and the cooker side will lift for access.
Back to work tomorrow so progress will stop for a while. It has been fun and I feel I have caught up a little. Thanks for the support and words of encouragement....you have all played your part, you just don't realise how much.
Best I get on and tidy up before you know who arrives back from work.
