The first coat is on. A watered down white. This will be the colour of a few of the planks. It will also serve as an undercoat for the rest. The trick is not to paint too well. Leave a few patches.

Using the three colours of paint I painted each panel different. Then i mixed the three together but not completely. Applying with a sponge in places and a brush in others it's all done

Now I need to let it dry before sandpapering it back to "weather" it.

I will knock back all the edges including the v grooves and then it should look half way there.
I will fix the chest in today and then that should just leave the worktop and legs. The top will take a fair few hours because it will have integral lights (pir activated) and the legs won't be quick either as they adjust it from 70cm high when inside the van to 90 cm high when outside.
