It's a standard feature on the Optima. There is a tank slung under the van, with a coil heat exchanger linked to the engine cooling system. A previous owner left it full over winter ant it split, so a mate fabricated a stainless replacement. It feeds the sink and the shower!

Nope. Not seen any more in the flesh. I'll post more pics at weekend, with the roof up. Allows plenty of space in the kitchen and storage area. Front seats are swivel captains with a foldaway table between them and the rears. Perfect layout for me and when needed I can fit a decent size pa in the back. Not used them yet, but there are two hammocks that allow 4 to sleep in there!

The hightop version certainly looks different. There's also a couple of options that elongate the thing, making it look even weirder
