Please don't take this the wrong way!!
Please remove the arch covers.
I had chrome ones on my t4 when I got her, and within 12 months they have made a real mess of the metal behind them.
Reason behind this is condensation and water getting trapped against the paint which quickly penetrates and causes rust, quickly.... It's looking like I may need arches on front and rear as a result.....
