If it's just VCDS you need buy a cable then download and register ($99) a copy of VCDS Lite from the Ross Tech site. For the smoke get the timing checked and adjusted plus injectors out, cleaned & pop tested to 220-230bar.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! Can anyone recommend a good t4 garage around Wakefield as just run a t4/5 specialist and got the answer we don’t want to work on t4s now as they are a bit of a ball ache !!!!
