Black Headlights - Anybody Opened the Standard Front Headlight?
Without flattering Or_Gazm too much, if he posted on this forum I would stick to Facebook only.
Then that would be a huge loss to the forum. Let's hope he never shows up.
I recall the name from the old place but didn't spend much time there so I don't remember him being a pain. What does he do to annoy people?

I make it sound like I would flounce, I never do that sort of thing. He is just a very unsavoury person that hasn't got anything good to say to anyone, he would ruin this forum.

Fuck him sausage, I read some of the things he was saying on the other forum, he wouldn't last long on here mate [emoji106]
TURK - any chance you could update us directly on your quad light build. I've put the oven on to debond my oem' s but they look like a nice fit .... it looks like you've got a supply queue (*100) since 2014? Cheers

Will do mate, right now I'm rather busy wiring up my new CNC machine
As a word of caution Activ8, don't use a flat blade screw driver to separate the glass ............. you risk chipping it. I found that a scraper or pallet knife to be very useful. Take a look at the following link, headlight separated > http://www.vwt4forum.co.uk/showpost....postcount=1306 I'm pretty sure that I've got some more photos somewhere if you need.

Correct, just four clips and once the glass is removed there's a rubber seal in the channel, and not an adhesive like on the short nose OEM headlights.
Wish the short nose one were held in by clips got a small hole in our off side one. Takes me back to the Volvo 340 we always kept the clips and glass lenses in stock.
