Should have the 2.5 at the weekend ... alteady looking at threads to remove / cut out panels and fit side windows as lell as find someone to sort arches in loading area ..

Lots of write ups on the net regarding the windows but not many with pics that show

Any one in kent are or near maidstone able to help out

Also the bulkhead . Is a full one . But havent seen any info on removing these ?

Think you may have spot welds to drill out on the bulkhead if its factory fit mate.

Full bulkheads are quite rare and it would offer you a great platform for a full height L or U shaped interior conversion so think about it b4 the grinder gets a workout.... draft out a few designs.... its an opportunity that's all! [emoji869]

Not after units installed just rear seats . Carpeted . Sound proof. Insulated ..

Ok so went to see the 2.5 yesterday and was only there ten mins and walked away .. paint . Erm the bonnet had been resprayed in what looked like artex . The rest of the van was like it was wraped in sandpaper . Sometimes had to stop. Go into first to find gears so walked away .......

So i got the 1.9tdi converted one .. lots of power picks up realy well and drives well

Few issues . But i dont think its too bad

Heater knob wont turn
But everything else seems ok
Temp gauge decides what it wants to do
Squeaking from what i suspet is bushes front and rear Yes it does squeek lol and possibly a gearbox mount and lower control arm bushes or replacement

Driver door . Pin u push to lock inside drops slightly when opening so keep key turned to keep it up

Any onelocal to possibly have a look and help find the squeaking be handy [emoji23]

I know its got uprated springs on the rear . If thats the cause then normal ones be handy [emoji6]

Also fixed the heter warm / cold issue ...metal prong at the rear was wedged between the white cog

Question is how did it get wedged, and might it happen again?
