Old style numbers the last two letters are the area, vj was Herefoedshire, ab Worcestershire, aw was one used in Shropshire theres loads just know the ones local to me.......ej was Welsh coast or Powys the list goes on............i'll get my coat

Well well, learn something every day! Thought that was a new thing with the current style of plates (first 2 letters) - didn’t know it was the same for prefix plates too!

Stands to reason, one of the old keepers was from somewhere in Wales.

After a few runs out I'm finding the niggles that need sorting - The dash lights/instrument lights not being on and intermiient temp gauge being the most urgent. Overall it's pretty much spot on (as old diesels go at least!).
