Bit of a story behind that one !

Let's just say that it's still in the wings, I did talk to one of Hella's directors a while back ........ he told me that they had a special department that would look into it once the project is complete.
So, who knows ........ it would be nice though.

I'm in no rush, don't worry. As for the year I really don't know. I think it's 2000 but I would have to go check the papers. I should know really.

I'll put you down as a 2000, if you should discover it's a late 1999 that won't matter too much. It's the earlier models that concern me a little. Because of the facelift, some body panels may be slightly different than mine. As my prototype is designed around my T4, it's a very late 2003 2.5 TDi, one of the last ever made, the fitting of the headlight assembly may be slightly different. When I begin to get feed-back, if there are any fitting issues we may see a pattern arising.

I must admit I did like the sound of it at first.

Realistically, I doubt very much that Hella would eventually agree to their name being used in a product that they haven't 100% designed and tested. No doubt they have very expensive lawyers, who go through this sort of thing daily. So I should really have a back-up plan for when the time comes.

And as I'm making various versions using different Hella units, that name will be followed by 'Series'.

So you would get the following;

Hella Quad Headlights - Classic Series
Hella Quad Headlights - Performance Series
Hella Quad Headlights - Ultimate Series


May sound a little boring, but it's straight to the point .......... what do people think ?

I'm no marketing guru either Snowrider ......... but after spending 20 odd years in retail, I did learn a few things.
I also used to build websites, so know a little about advertising ............ it's interesting to see just how people react to a simple slogan.

A simple image on a poster or website will always have a greater impact than any wording.
