Got loom upgrade on our corrado, made one hell of a difference. Its basically taking current straight from battery thru relay to bulbs cutting out voltage drop in switch and wiring. Our T4 was okish on main beam but almost dangerous on dip, bare in mind they do look miles out of adjustment. But doing loom on it post hast

Thanks guys, glad you liked the update
You mean a 'Laser Cutter' Grubb ? ................. or for SuperMan to give me a hand !?
Yup, looked into that already my friend. There's a new hand held one available, still a very very expensive solution. A tool like that would only be effective if mounted into a CNC machine, and that's another 3 to 4 grand !
Cutting and trimming plastics effectively is a major problem, with ABS it either melts ( or fuses ) it's self onto the cutting blade clogging the blade up within seconds, or even re-fuses it's self back behind the cutting blade. HIP's ( High Impact Polystyrene ) is even worst, as it's more brittle than ABS ( ABS contains more rubber ), with HIP's being more brittle it tends to shatter if you are not careful while trying to cut it !
A lot of my current processes are still in the development stages, it's really only through testing that you are able to see what works and what doesn't. That's what I meant by working on my 'workflow'.

Tbh i was comparing the c4 we had to the mg metro (a few years earlier) the metro whilst you could watch it rust, just felt better somehow. The robin is the same (looking at one for my daughter as s bit of a cash cow)
All for working mans car and loved my peugeots and my renault 9 but it seemed to be quantity rather than quality?

Personally I don't like French made cars, or any modern vehicle for that matter, they're all manufactured under EU guidelines. They all look similar to me, and they have no character. The T4 has always been known as 'over engineered', looks good, solid as a rock and the 2.5 engine is bullet proof ......... it does have it's foibles however. But as enthusiasts that's what we do, we 'improve' the things we don't like or should have been constructed with a little more thought.
My job is the sort out the headlights !

I am not a fan of new vehicles either yes they all look the same!!
In and honesty my t4 is a little new, being this century, but I love her simplicity and build and that I loved them when I was working for vw in my teens!

Hi folks, just a wee update for you all ..................
I know this is only a mock-up at the moment .................. but WOW ! so I just had to share >>
This is what I'm going to use for the 'Premium Series'. The Hella Bi-Halogen - A Low beam and High beam unit all in one, and it's switchable from LHD to RHD. Known as the 'Tourist Solution'. Great for those holidays abroad, so no more stupid sticky things on your headlights. And being as it's going to be a 'quad' system .......... I'm going to wire them up with my custom upgrade wiring loom with all FOUR high beams ON ! >>
Superb units T:
It was touch and go whether I could fit these units in these headlight brackets. But my original concept was to design a headlight bracket that would be 'Universal' ................. the type of 'Universal' that fits anything and not the type you usually buy on eBay ! that doesn't seem to fit anything !
So, well on our way to a 'Classic Series' - 'Performance Series' - 'Premium Series'
All sorts of combinations should be available, to suite all pockets !

They've all got the 'Tourist Solution' Greeny .....................
Even the 'Classic Series'. No sense in mucking about when buying the units, they're a little more expensive but well worth it. What I meant was, the 'Premium' units are so much more powerful than the lessor versions .................. Just look at the amount of glass on them ! they are also twice the price of the others !
I'm sure I'll find myself going for a drive in the middle of the night for absolutely no reason other than to see where I'm going !
