Well well well, as i said, i fancied starting my own build thread, So here it is..

Meet winston
He's a 1.9 hill struggling, chug along, just the way i like it
Was actually in pretty good condition when i picked it up.... Untill you look closer, bit of the usual rust, dents, dodgy repairs, but what do expect, a 15 year old van after all,
So basically decided to give it the attention it needs, a full respray, keep on top of the rust and sort all the dodgy repairs....
Like this one, found this hole which was filled over and silliconed from behind
And this one... Some one had filled over a huge dent and smoothed over the channel, and the filler had cracked all the way down through, which was inevitable, had to dig out a heap of filler and start over
I just dont understand how some repairers, finish a job, stand back and think, "yes, job well done" theres some real cowboys around...
Any way, i took the windscreen out, bare metalled underneath as the rust was building up nicely, then painted the roof black and popped a new windscreen back in,
Fully repaired and primed one side and said good bye to the rusty arches.
Give me a couple of weeks and ill have the repaint done, then i can enjoy the summer, throw a matress and barby in the back, job done, untill the winter months when i plan on sorting the interior.
