Stripped the turbo today. Has too much up and down and side to side movement for my liking and its all got a bit oily. Was going to do a door step "how to" turbo build but I got the wrong fecking rebuild kit and my shafts too thick....ooh er misses. Be on the dog and bone first thing to sort correct one. Its twenty years since I stripped one. Money for old rope I think theres bugger all to the things. Want it rolling again for that Griffin meet sunday.

No mate all long gone, Bit of an own goal really. Not replacing just doing the bearings and seals for now. Will look out for another to do. Its a Garret T15 something, gave the supplier the numbers off it and hey presto in stock and with me monday. What a wally shouldnt have just taken a wild guess.

With a turbo rebuild kit and a jolly good clean the van may be more than just an ornament by Tuesday.

The parts going back in are cleaned and ready to go. So until the bearing and seals get here no more vanning for me this weekend.
