Just ordered a throttle spindle bush/sleeve. The vans been off the road 48 hours and its doing my head in. Went to Edgbaston Cricket Ground today for an insect sale but pictures of the polo outside the stadium just aren't the same.

Does it not bug you all the insects in your house??
Well I've just learnt more about injection pumps in the last hour than in 35 years in the motor trade. I was always lead to believe that if you took the top off one all the magic and star dust would escape and that would be that. Was a bit nervous tapping the old throttle sleeve out, had visions of busting the top as it was a bit tight to start with. Used a nut and bolt to pull the new one in. Used a bosch repair kit, the only thing not in it was a new o ring for the max fuel screw which I removed to get lid off. But I had one in the full pump seal kit I already had. I now have a throttle lever with no side to side movement so will refit tomorrow with a new cam belt and hopefully no leaks. Just like to say a huge thank you to Mr Cheeseman for his advice and how to guide.......top bloke.
