Got the wheel off the golf today and to be safe I unbolted the airbag out of it and when we get a minute we'll put it to a battery and see how high it flys.........we have a long coil of speaker wire to do this. Don't try it at home kids......remember Captain Scarlett is indestructible YOU are not.

Well I've ditched the golf wheel. Wasn't happy with the 2 inch gap between the column cowl and the wheel, couldn't see a way to make the horn or the indicator cancel work and most importantly Molly didn't like the fit so it back to the standard wheel. Will have to keep my eyes peeled for a tidy one. Nothing ventured nothing gained. It looked good from the drivers seat just didn't like the gap...........right whats next? I've got 6 metres of light 4 way for the roof and pillars and 8 metres of dark for the panels lets see if I can f##k that up next.

Well you say that........the adaptor is on a taper and wouldn't come off so to put the standard wheel back on I had to split it with the angle grinder while my lad held a sheet up to stop any sparks imbedding in the windscreen. Did that once on a clients escort van, but you live and learn. Think its time for a cider and a lye down.
