Well the funny noise is back and with gusto!! To the point where it's possible that it's shocks or shock bushes on the front!!! Reason for thinking this is that the noise is now there when going over speed bumps and potholes.
However I have a horrible feeling that I may have 2 issues as i can't get away from the feeling that the rack sounds like it has air in it? Although the power assistance still feels good and smooth.

Ball joints mate, it's always ball joints...
Lower ones are a piece of, top ones are a pain in the! 🤦
Do to the tops easily you need a proper tool for pressing them out - bit it can be done with a hammer and plenty of thought... [emoji106]
Don't bother with the cheap replacement ones, they don't last - get a price on genuine ones if you want a laugh.
If you're not doing it yourself insist the garage use decent quality ones...
And after all that, it might not be them, I'm just guessing... [emoji854][emoji854]
