Well it was a fail but only on a lower passenger ball joint,,,,,, not bad but annoying as I replaced the lot about 3 years ago

How. Can new parts fail when they are 3 years old. Not exactly new. Only half hour to change one no big problem

And yes they were 3 years old but that isn't a long time for a low milage vehicle

Four front lower ball joints on S49 in 2 and a half years 24000 miles meyle,topran,cheapee from the factors. Better they knock the lower ones out than the top ones.

Mind it could be down to Herefordshire council not fixing the ffing pot holes.

I will point pot that the trunions on my scimitar are 10 years old and survive with a little grease every now and then

I was going to go for some Meyle HD shocks but kept hearing about issues with poor quality. I’m not convinced any of their stuff is much good. When any joints go on mine I replace them with Lemforder (OEM quality): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232728111661
