Meanwhile, gotta say the 0.62 fifth gear mod has to be one of the best mods I've done to the van so far.
I'm sure the remapping has gone a long way to making it feel so good but 2000 rpm at 60 is fantastic.
I don't notice any big step between fourth and fifth but I've not met any long inclines that might expose the gap - and as I don't normally meet such hills on a regular basis, I guess I can probably live with it.
Mind you - when I get the turbo fixed and he boost restored I'm betting I love it even more.

Nice one - thank you.
I had planned to get the turbo out and rebuilt on Friday afternoon but another van turned up with a leaky pump and a few electrical gremlins.
Seems to be going quite well at the mo.
I cleaned the six speed up today - I'm worried that the output spline may cause massive problems, it needs an extender shaft and a remote guide mounted on the engine and therein lies the rub.
May have to buy a block /engine for mocking up

Bought another gearbox last week.
Almost identical to the GRF 6 speed but this has a different output shaft, might this be more useable;
Got a question for you.
Fitted my hybrid (300bhp)Thursday and getting a fast vibration though the accelerator eases off at 1650rpm but only had a couple of very short drives Friday and another today. Engine sweet.
What do you reckon DMF?
Might have to wind the boost back!

I have exactly the smae vibe, through the throttle pedal - but only the throttle pedal and it is most obvious under load 1600 - 2000 rpm with a peak at 1800. It did this when the turbo was swapped and did not change with the new single mass flwheel.
It is either the turbo or some physical contact somewhere there should be none. Very intrusive and off-putting as it feels like a serious engine issue.

Its all new code.
Cannot recall whether I code read it before installing the new code!
Packed for posting tomorrow but I'll take a look in the morning.
