Do you know if there's enough room in the bell housings to fit a 240mm SMF? Both the Volvo D5252T and AEL used 240mm/28 with their respective gearboxes.

TPS quoted me a flywheel on exchange this morning (don't need an identical swap![emoji6]). 2 in the UK for next day delivery £88 & £477 for the complete clutch.

Its Borg & Beck then , I think they're rebranding according to their website so it may be old packaged stock.

The exchange is interesting option as you stay OEM - that was 074 105 269E ?

The 240 wont fit the 02B as far as I've gathered, I've got a bellhousing in the garage - I'll go measure but pretty sure the 151bhp gearbox accommodates the 240mm flywheel

Very useful - I'll follow the links in a bit - will they work with the Borg/Beck/National flywheel? Don't suppose you found a part number for this flywheel? Details were scarce but do you concur that it is at least a 228 setup?

Oh, they are just friction plates.

Would need a upgraded compatible pressure plate or could be worthless.

Besides - they are mary queens. So worthless junk no doubt.

02B bellhousing is 280mm - not sure how much the ring gear adds to the 240 flywheel but you can bet it will not mate with the starter...

Yes, just reread my notes they had x7 in the UK.

Is that the DQR & EEZ Quaiffe Gearbox Codes on the 151? But yes it uses the 240/8 just thought the increased surface area might be all thats needed.

Yes the Borg&Beck is definately 228mm/28 spline. Finding the SMF on its own is difficult as is a suitable uprated clutch pressure plate.

Been researching the plates upgrade. There's a Seat Cupra R standard clutch and pressure plate (165KW) 228/28 LUK 2 piece kit for about £100 that should work 50k / 5 year warranty too!
