When I get a chance I'll pick up the turbo, over the next few days probably, and it's booked into the mech beginning of January. When I spoke to him earlier, he was saying the hole was right on a seam and looked more like a fault rather than extreme heat related, he said overall the turbo didn't look at all cooked and the oil didn't smell burnt, but he understands my concern and is happy to swap it over. Be interesting to see how it looks once it is off...

What was the mileage on the Cordoba , had it been (loose term) upgraded ? Plus Reg would of thoroughly checked the turbo over, I've seen your exhaust wrapping it's evenly spaced, sure sign of erm "tendencies to be exact and thorough"....

Van no longer goes into limp mode, steady boost mostly between 10-15 psi with the odd 18psi when gunning it. Will be booking it in for another rolling road session and see what it's actually doing. All is good in camp sausage
