Bloody freezing tonight but managed to put the side panel on the unit and mount the switch panel in it, and also put the upper shelf in. Switch panel looks on the piss but I’m sure it’s not having measured it a few times, hopefully it’s just the photo!

Bit of progress on the van today. Doesn’t look like much but took the best part of the afternoon to finish the shelving, add a bit more framing and then put the front cover on and start cutting the access holes.
(That scruffy one bottom right will be hidden by the bed, it’s just a bit of access for the battery)

Point taken it is definitely very heavy duty, basically when I started it I hadn’t considered screwing the panels onto the frame so had to fill the space between the frame and the mdf on the front and side. Was easier to just use what was on hand than buy new materials and redo it. It’s all a learning exercise!
I didn’t want the panel to impact using the side door too much, especially for when shoving bikes in the van they can be a right pain to move about especially the longer DH bikes.
