Bit more progress over the last couple of nights.
Roof panels lined and fitted along with the spots.
The lights were from eBay and straight forward enough. The remote control allows you to alter brightness levels and it has preprogrammed flashing sequences because.......... well I don’t know what the point of that is to be honest but it gave us a laugh [emoji16]
I’ve got curtains to fit over the weekend and make a start on wiring in the split charge system.
The boy is off skiing with school for a week so don’t want to do too much whilst he’s away as the point is we do the conversion together.
Will have to get the wife to hide the keys!!
Thanks for all the positive comments on previous posts guy’s, really enjoying this project and sharing the progress.

With the boy away on his skiing trip with school ( it’s a hard life being a teenager) I’m resisting the urge to do anymore on the interior this week.
The units should be laminated in time for fitting at the weekend on his return so it seemed like a good opportunity to spend some time on the exterior.
Mark the previous owner is fastidious about maintenance to be fair, he’s no amateur detailer so tonight out came the bucket and polish.
Since we got the van ( 4 weeks we’ve done a lot!) all we’ve done is a wash and quick polish so tonight it got the clay bar treatment and a bit of love [emoji16]
I’ve never used a clay bar before and was amazed at the amount of dirt it dragged from the surface. A quick polish afterwards and I’m really pleased with the results.
Ultimately, the van needs painting but it will have to wait until next year.
Here’s a couple of moody iPhone shots
