Sold the ABL engine for £600 with pump manifold and turbo. The lad gave me a sump, oil pickup and dipstick+tube off his knackered ABL so I can keep it complete.

He wants it ASAP so I’ve said it’ll be ready to collect next Saturday. It’s only a couple hours to get it out so I may have it done this week if I get home at reasonable times through the week and the weather is good

The final moments: After rowing with the rancid bodged and welded on front panel and 2 hours 20 minutes later:

The ABL was collected a few minutes later. Got £600 for it - chuffed

Not so sexy was the front panel..... I’ll take some better pics but it’s a right mess. Massive holes on the inside and the end of both outriggers are rough, one is gone really. Been bodged like fuck, never noticed it before. I’ll need to repair them and then consider whether to save the front panel. Or fit another. Found one for £50 that’s in better condition but still needs a small hole repairing.

No it’s only the outer edges. I’ll cut the ends off and stick some decent thickness steel plates in.
