      • All done with a Murex 120 mig dating back to 1981.

        • I was one year old in 81!

          I'm a qualified welder but still haven't welded cars, but going to be replacing wings and that patch next to the sliding door eventually

          • Have a go on some metal first. Thicker stuff is a lot easier to do. I always weld in little short spots on panel stuff so as to avoid the metal distorting.

              • Congrats on completing the welding.Onto the fun stuff.Although,I do find welding in repairs quite satisfying.The more you do it,the neater it gets.

                • Fun stuff? The welding has been the fun stuff for me. It'll up to the boss to get some sort of colour match. Have grown to love fannying about with old vans.

                              • Its a 3 ton lift but its on "farmers" concrete so a bit thin so I just use it for cars.
