      • Yes Aaron got the whole thing including the top step. Just putting the lower part in. Its going to test my skills or lack of. Its not my thing this proper body work, I,ve always been a "put a patch over it to get it by the test" sort of repairer.

            • Cut it out properly and take your time to get the fit right before welding in - prep is everything.

              You cannot weld to rusty metal and will just blow holes.

                You'll never know how good you are till you try bud, my welding has always been shit but, my mate is teaching me and it's getting better, glad I picked it up and had a go now [emoji106]

ID:	265658 Just got to grind up, check if it needs more weld. If you tackle this at home weld in from behind as you don't want to lose the space for the rollers to run in. Checked and ours go in fine but if i'd welded from inside I would have been in trouble.

                          • The weldings a bit untidy underneath but will grind up ok. I can see why people like my dad put cars on a spit roast sort of frame to always be able to weld from above.
