Finally got around to sorting my spare set of steels. Did have them blasted and primed. But they did such a piss poor job i had to rub them down by hand afterwards anyway. Then got them painted VW Flash red with added flake. Cleaned up and satin blacked the center caps.

I did away with the under seat sub. I needed to make the base lower as i was sick of sitting so high. Chopped out 45mm. Much better driving position.

Did you just cut and weld? I can't weld! I'm not too tall but when I look sideways it's through the tinted wind deflector and my knees nearly rub the steering wheel.

Im 6ft2. Was looking through the tint at top of the screen and having to duck to look out the side past the deflectors as you say. I just cut 45mm off of the bottom and welded some flat bar in its place, re drilled the holes and jobs a good un [emoji16]
