Thanks all, Depends on the pallet to be honest Mr Meister, oh and how careful you want to be so as to get the best yield. Between 5 and 20 min per pallet using a hammer and a jimmy bar, to be honest if I was doing it again the saw would be out, I'd get less wood but it'd be a damn site quicker, one chop down either side then it's just two nails per plank, and then I'd get a lot of dodgy firewood for the burner too.

      Pallet wood

Managed another half day on the van today but forgot to take any bloody pics, sorry guys.
It was a frustrating one though, some days I'm just not in the zone.
On the plus side my Dad had a compressor that "broke" so he brought a new one, one 13 amp fuse later I now have a decent compressor. [emoji1303] on the downside I just spent £70 on a new 1/4" torque air impact driver [emoji23]

Picked up the faux suede from Bustypes. Good stuff.

I'm a little concerned it might wrinkle when the panel bows for fitting but we shall see.

Cheers Daz, they are touch lights I picked up from my buddy at Swanson conversions, got another mate helping fit the floor on Thursday or Friday and then it'll be ready for the wedding, fingers crossed.

              Pallet wood

Exiting times, although slow for you guys sorry, the floor and roof go in tomorrow all being well, will update with pics when it's all in, I'll be wiring the lights to the main batt for now, just to get them ready for the wedding, mainly as I need to find a discreet common earth, I've not done this the best way round, I should have planned all the wiring while it was a shell. One thing I did plan though was that I'm useless and I wouldn't plan for that, if that makes sense! All the panels are easily removed via a few roofing self tapping bolts, I made sure of this so I can do the wiring later on. Be sure I'll be asking loads about that at a later date.

Used a dead man to prop it up, it didn't go without its hitches, where the ply wood bowed the pallet wood rails for the lights cracked slightly, it's not that noticeable but I know it's there so it will be changed. Also there was some sag so another beam or beams are needed, it will however do just fine till after the wedding.

I enlisted the help of my buddy Ben for the floor as one false cut would have meant it was all for nothing. This is literally all we had spare at the end.

Then all the panels went in to place perfectly, well they are pallet wood perfect at best.

                      Pallet wood

The wood colour doesn't come out well on the photos, it's richer in the flesh oh and those are the old curtains just put back in for now, new ones will be made up. Now the shell is done the fun begins, back to the old layout or in with the new?

Just noticed that on that last photo you can see the sag in the roof that I was talking about.

                          Pallet wood

Cheers all, went for something a bit different from the flat pack stuff.

Also the flooring I went for was vinyl laminate, fully waterproof and hard wearing, I got an absolute steal as I think the manager cocked it up, it was supposed to be £45 a pack, I had the last two and one was damaged so he said he'd do me a deal on that one, I walked out confused and having payed £20 something for the two, I pretty much ran to the van and scarpered [emoji23]
