Now it's starting to come together a bit. You may notice I covered the hole where the old light was. The hole is still there and will be reopened when I build a box for the reversing camera I don't yet have. Not sure which to buy as I don't want chino shite.

Next is the sun visors. In the mean time I rewired the front speakers with some super thick cable I chaved from the boss's cupboard .

It's some heavy duty stuff this and I'm sure it wasn't cheap. Seven individual sections inside each cable. Probably overkill but I am sealing the speakers down with silicone so best I put this in now.

he is said silicone. This should stop vibration. I shall fit the screws and when it's dry tighten them another half turn or so.

Next on the list is the steel work around the join between the roof and the sides. The slopey angle part. I don't like it and carpet wouldn't last given the van works as a van so I opted for wood.

I had cut some wood the the required shapes (using a jigsaw to ensure it wasn't perfect ) and varnished it to match the tailboard and unit

that should hhold the roof up. Feels a bit Morris minor-ish but I like it

This is bumper paint. All surfaces were prepared using the method described by Turk. So the paint should stick

and back in situ. I didn't clip them into the catches so they can dry more first.
