As you can see they are a bit hammered.

      • I've given them a few coats of hammerite and will leave them a few days to harden up before a light sand and a few more coats.

Not looking for perfection just a bit tidier.

        • Next up is the stereo. I have amps to fit and sub woofer and more speakers but one stage at a time.
First then is the head unit. From single din to double. I've thought long and hard about losing the vents and I know others have the same dilemma but I have the stereo so I may as well and can always go back to single if I want.

If you flip this part upside down it still fits and operates the flap so I may be able to use it to duct the air back through the one vent . Like this I can aim it at me and have all the a.c.

It's fits neater than I expected so I am very happy with that.

A fresh live from the ignition barrel and we are on.

              • I'm contemplating feeding my mini snes into it...not sure yet. I have to set the GPS up and the hands free microphone. Also I haven't done the usb charging ports yet either.
Just need to change my phone for an iPhone or a Samsung with screen mirroring and I'm sorted.

Cables will stay here for now.

                • Just the vent to pop in. Needs trimming as it wedges the radio over to the right but it's ok for now.

                  • Love your build thread mate. Whats the cardboard for between the dash and the windscreen?

                      Thanks bud.
It's covered in insulation. The sun was coming in and I was squinting like a good un.

Is that a storage cubby Arf. Aftermarket or part of the plastics on yours? Has it got a part number bud?

                          • I can ask about the ecu
I will look for a part number. It's not aftermarket. It's covered over if you look at the last picture Not sure what it's for.
