This was after a trip to the happiness laboratory at Mayan Monkey Mijas where I encountered an old grinder called Molly ( just don't Simon. ..you're in enough trouble lately).

So i layed off the meds today and got shit done instead, despite Spike tv trying to lure me with a full day of ateam...bastards.


First up, the roof ripped out. The rubber backed carpet couldn't take the heat and had undulated badly and agrivated me.

I will be glad to see the back of this varnish and wobbly carpet look.

This was never trimmed and sits up ten mm. So marked up and sorted.

I had previously cut these frames.


These will be a mirror and a frame to hold a picture. I am in the process of putting new seat covers on so the rickrys coffee sacks are being re-recycled to cover these. Waste not want not my Grandad used to say. Mind, he used to say "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger" untill he got M.S.

Been looking forward to doing these...let's see. Speaker holes cut I grooves some lines with the circular saw, about 5mm deep.

Next job is to cut the corners to make them look like individual planks.


Then sand it up a little before paint. More sanding to come after.

The hole for the speaker is this way because I want to mount it from the rear (ooooh Matron) of the panel. I will search for a grille made of metal as I don't want to use the plastic ones that comes with the speakers.
