Now I have to build the rest of my kitchen pod thing.


I went down the route of having some marine grade ply cut from a ten mm sheet. I would normally use the old packing crates but this would be too heavy to lift in and out all the time and because I'm using ten mm I need the cuts to be perfect as I'm only using glue. No space for screws in ten mm or it may split.

Back home.


All lines up ready.
At this point I need to take moment to acknowledge the help s49 had given me. Providing the measurements needed to continue. My vans at work and I have this free time but no way to measure it.

Even though the wood is new I wanted to look old. Taking inspiration from roccodog's floor I draw some lines to look like strips of wood.


I cut a v shape out with a Stanley knife.


This takes much time but is satisfying
