  • I will finish as much as I can before I run out of material and then concentrate (unusual for me) my efforts on the two steps. That's today's job.......

    • Looking like a manufactured product there mate! Can imagine it's tedious work.
If you don't mind me asking how is it being fixed to the van ceiling?

      • You ask what ever you want dude, I don't mind.
At the back end the wood overlaps and screws into the metal underside of the opening, this reduces the opening height by the thickness of the wood but hey ho.The bit the tailgate hinges are fastened to. Struggling to explain that better.
        The sides/front I haven't worked out yet.

        • One top tip I meant to share is when it comes to sticking the corners down with the superglue use a small offcut of the carpet to push it down while the glue takes. Like this if any glue seeps out it sticks to the carpet fibres and not your fingers. This is useful because it's both invisible as it's the same material and also saves removing your fingerprints from your fingers.

In a side note, if you zoom in on the centre of this picture you can just make out a t4. Looks like I have a new friend moved in. May have to pop round and introduce him/her to the site.
          We must recruit more members.
So that's where I am at to date, let's see what today brings.

                • Arroyo de la Miel. Which translates as Honey Stream. It's nice, Google it.
It's home to Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez. Football fans amongst you may know him as the Real Madrid player Isco.
