Like to see if you can get those seats to fit central to the steering wheel...........

I removed the airbags from mine and exploded them in the garden with the kids, you can run the complete seat electrics, adjustment and heater on one wire and an earth which you can send through the seat chassis.

I love the Rx8s in my van - just wish they fitted.

You can have fun with the old air bags. Make sure your trigger wires are long. When we dismantle an old unwanted motor we always let off the air bags. Apart from the one I have my eye on in the Mark 4 golf to put in s49 a la Spedwing. The chap at the Subaru training centre reckoned they had the power of an IRA pipe mortor but who knows?

Shouldn’t be an issue being a welder fabricator by trade.

Ahhh - your gonna move the driver door out an inch to get the required clearance - or remove the door pocket.

Drivers seat in, no issues at all. Such a nicer place to sit, comfortable and lower that stock ( which I prefer)

I must have wide Rx8 seat then because if mine was put in central to the steering wheel then the right hand side of the seat touches the door pocket meaning you cant get to the switches.

The centre line of your seat is bang on with the centre line of your steering wheel then? Mine is 15mm off. I'm capable of fitting it central (used to be a welder too) - it just dont fit!

They are lovely seats though! I love mine.

Also put the bed in, It's only a DIY job but will fit the bill for now. I have no fridge at the moment so though the sub would fill that hole nicely for abit.

Took advantage for the 20% off code from ebay and picked up some more goodies for the new year..

Also had my first breakdown on the way to wales lol Gear linkage bushes shot, luckily the cable tie fix worked and is still working, new bushes on order..

I had the same breakdown a couple of months back in Hastings. Cable ties did the job for me too and a 100 mile trip home.
