Copper or cupranickel? I only ask as I have had copper ones work harden and fracture even though correctly clipped, fitted, and not over worked when fitted. So now it's always cupranickel when I have to fit new lines.

These are copper but my pal is somewhat of an expert in brake Lines! I like you manage to get them to work harden[emoji849]. He forms them all by hand even though he has a tool to bend them! This is the carnage that got cut off. Literally three off cuts from 2 rolls of new pipe!

That's what you want. Copper brake lines fit and forget. Had anyone fitted braided hoses? Have em on the VR6. Got a couple advised on the mot for slight perishing so may look into it. Will like you change all the steel ones to.

My pal is cracking at this stuff. I’ve had bikes and cars with braided lines and I’m not convinced apart from they look nice! The ends still rot!

First time it happened lucky I wasn't going quickly as I lost the front brakes reversing away from my sister's old house on a main road in my Scimi. Needless to say I shat myself but all credit to her I got my baby to my parents home (and later home!!) On the handbrake!!

Mine were in the car when I got her. The work hardening came from vibration over months and years (and probably fitment as well) the fatigue point was between 2 different rent materials
