gearbox oil in and home she goes! On the lookout for a new set of wheels! Lower ball joints done. My mechanic pal is in for some rods out his left arm next week so we’ve got her mobile so I can keep cracking on the inside! Investigations underneath show we need a brake hose so gonna do all 4 while under there! Also needs the rear engine mount ( gearbox) one as it’s like a sponge! Might see if there’s a poly one available. Drove her home and she feels fab with new ball joints. Can’t wait to get back on her and do the lowering!

Replacement rear gearbox mounts are often made from alloy and break really easily, remove the rubber bush from the new and fit to the old steel mount

...make sure there is a little stretch on the tyres, balloon tyres will hit sliding door

hope give all had a fab Christmas and Santa was generous!!! Firstly being the great fanny I am I’ve decided to go back to these 16” splits I have in stock. The schnitzers are just too modern for a T4. [emoji848][emoji848].
They’re plenty wide enough and have some good tyres so I’m gonna split em and refurb em. Spoken to felgenfuchs and they can supply dishes if I want to change them up a bit! I think I’m going gold on the Centers.......watch this space. Done some bbs RS I had on my old golf so no probs there [emoji13].
Itching to get back on with the inside too now that I’m mobile again! Loads of plans. No doubt these will change as I go along! Def want to be at dub freeze with her this year. How far a long I’ll be is anybody’s guess 🧐.
No I don’t want to be smug but it’s 20 degrees here in Cyprus as I’m typing this. [emoji41][emoji41]. Back home in a couple of days to get back too it! I also acquired myself one of those lady type things as a wife. Best of luck to her [emoji23][emoji23]. Happy Boxing Day!!
