The most modern thing I drive out of work is my t4, The wife has a 58 plate passat b6 170 sport. Other than that I have a 1992 scim and my 1981 scim, however the 1981 scim has an ecu (2.9i out of a granada Scorpio.)

Expensive though!!.
Our b6 had all the sensors replace in the first year at a megga cost (over £1000) to cure an intermittent sensor fault that made the car undrivable some times.

At the time the passat was a necessary for towing the caravan, plenty of grunt and weight for towing. And a vw for the quality however it's nowhere near as good a car as the b5.5 highline we had before.
