The reason why I asked Tony was, I did that bumper mod to my T4 a while back with the intention of adding a front mounted intercooler, as you can see from the image below ........ but then I moved to France so never got round to it >>
All is not lost though mate, you can always do the turbo mod on a 2.4D As the 2.4 is also a 5 cylinder engine like the 2.5TDi you'll get so much more oompth than the basic 1.9's that are only 4 cylinder versions.

Hi. Love the look of your front end. Where can I find me some of those lights? 😁
I've included that particular link as it has the 'Pre-Order List' on it ........... as the custom quad headlights will be made to order as it were, I'm taking names of interested parties. It's not an actual order, so there no obligation to add your name to the list, but at least you won't have to wait so long when they become available.
I'm designing a few different versions, both for the short nose T4 and the long nose T4, so you would have to let me know which version you're interested in.
There is that and I will need some time as well. Im currently sinking at least Ā£500 into it right now. The pin that engages the clutch release arm punched through the arm a couple weeks ago. So ive dropped the engine and box out and im just sorting every little niggle out while im in there. Its a big list, turbo rebuild, new pas pipes, a few oil leaks, even more water leaks and it goes on!!. I am havimg some troubke with one thing and you seem very knowledgeable on the old busses so ill ask.. I dont suppose you know of anywhere that does preformed Silicone hose sets for the 1.9td 1994 at all do you?
I'm not really an engine guy, more of a 'lecky' guy actually ......... I usually pay the prose to tinker with my engine !
But having said that, Lulu' only covered 64,000 from new, so there's not an awful lot of engine work required apart from the usual servicing
There are people on here far more experienced with engines than myself ......... RegCheeseman comes to mind.
At least it'll give you a fair bit of time to save up for them.

Hey Turk. Been following your headlight project for a while and I figure that if I put my daughter's name down for a pre-order (she's 13) they might be available by the time she gets her first T4

Wow.. 64,000.. 🙈 mines just gone over 200,000.. Engine still runs sweet but she definately needs some love. Getting all the mechanicals worked through this year. Next year will be the body work!! Then the year after will be the interior..

Yeah, she's barely run-in at 64,000 miles mate
And I've now bought myself a 151bhp MultiVan as my daily driver
Seems like you have your plans all sorted mate, and in the correct order I would say. I know first ownership is expensive, but once it's all done you'll have a superb vehicle that'll last you years. And I still maintain that's it's a future classic. So if all the restoration and mods are done correctly it'll be an investment for the future. Have you considered starting a 'build thread' ? that way you can log everything you've done .......... great way to also familiarise yourself with your van and it's workings, simply by asking the right people how to accomplish certain tasks.
I find that in time to come, build threads will add to the van's history if everything is logged, and with the addition of photo's on a build thread, the new owner ( if you choose to sell at some point ) will know just how much work has been done.
I totally agree with you. Definate investment.. I have started a thread in the engine section called "a few things to do.."
I will be logging everything in there with this years tasks..
