alright mate, that's a good looking van that, looks like uv just done what I'm about to start, mine is currently in a similar condition to how urs was. how much work did u have to do?
Latest update, tried to tackle drivers sill rust and ended up with a job too much for me to tackle. So off to Southcoast Wagenwerks for a new sill and arch, whilst removing the old one it appears I have a touch of the rusty stuff on the inner arch.
Painted the bumpers in truck bed liner as the heat treatment on the faded bumpers has already faded. Fitted a pair of Mr Sausages top mounts and short drop links and wound the van down another 40mm. Tyres catch the arches on full lock so I reshaped the arches with a grinder. Not too happy with the results and after some more reshaping I think I need to do them again. I'll get some second hand wings and reshape those off the van.

" Hank the vw tank " not a bad name!
My missus wants our van to be named " Betty "
As in Betty Boop , but ours is Betty Blue !!!
Van looks fantastic, seeing the before and after pictures tells the story!
Keep up your good work and enthusiasm mate!!
It's all sounding great [emoji1303]
Picked up the van yesterday. And gave it a bloody good scrub this morning. Figured I hadn't taken any photos in a while so grabbed a few before the weather turned.
