Our first real trip away with the van. 2 weeks in cornwall at a site that we have been to many times.
We had taken the caravan with us because trying to fit 2 adults,2 teenagers and 2 dogs into the van seemed like a lot of hard work.



Before the trip i bought a rock "n" roll bed of a fellow club member



My son had the job of test driving this for 2 weeks - he slept in till 10.00 am most days so i'd say it was good enough.

Not a bad summer - did some surfing.



I know there is a lot of new people involved in everything VW related now and a lot of people say thats its all about the money and scene tax etc but i met a fantastic guy on this holiday.
Nearly 2 months earlier i saw some syncro light guards for sale on a Facebook group. They where on my list of must haves to complete the look i was going for.
Luckily for me i must have seen them first (early bird catches the worm) i messaged the seller who agreed that i could have them (first come,first served) - good news for me and unbelievably only £20,bad new was that they where in cornwall.
Thankfully because the seller was such a great guy he agreed to keep them for me for next 6 weeks till i could get down there to pick them up,he only lives 5 miles from the campsite i was staying in.
