Now by this point of owning my van i was starting to enjoy driving it,it still looked like shit but when you're inside it you can't see the outside.
I was reading the build threads on the forum and buying the monthly magazines.
One month on the cover was a style of van that i had never seen before - a military looking van - owned by Nick Wild, who most people know of or have heard of. When i saw that van thats when i knew what route i wanted mine to take.
Sometimes i look at other peoples vans and i like them and admire the owners handy work and what they have done and achieved.
I didn't really want a lowered van and i didn't want a "bling" mobile. I wanted something where if it got dirty on the inside it didn't matter or if it got a small scratch on the outside then no big deal,i could always just touch it up.I wanted something that could be "used and abused".

Next step was to get a suitable roof rack - nowhere does a decent of the shelf roof rack for a T4. So i got one listed for a T5 - rhino roof rack.

I thought it looked pretty good. While i was on the site looking for the rack i noticed they do a rear door ladder so i thought well i can't get to the rack without one so i ordered one of them also.

Both of these items were purchased from a place called PF Jones as too was the tow bar that i had purchased where i had the recon engine fitted. They are a great place to buy from with fast delivery and great customer service.
