So got the van back yesterday. New temp sensors, fuses done etc. Oil light just blooming came on again squealing at me after 10 miles. Is it possible it’s something to do with the bonnet pin catch? Garage not open until Tuesday to send it back. Dreading not making Action now [emoji51]

Oil pressure sensor? Wiring / loom fault....What have you been invoiced for?
You need to have word with your garage Tommo. You're becoming a 'regular' customer!

                Temp sensor
                2 fuses
                Road test.

So now the temp sensor on the dash works but makes me think they didn’t check the oil pressure sensor which is what it went in for.

Only 3 visits in over 2 years so not too bad [emoji51]
Onto them as soon they are back.

It is on a T5. Maybe give it a squirt of wd40 or something.

                  • 10 miles is about right for getting up to oil and fuel temps in this weather. It'll record a code so no excuses on their part. Just check the oil level and trace a view wires around engine bay, check the locking clips are closed and no ingress of moisture on the sensors. Above all - DON'T worry!

I’ve had a look underneath and I don’t think that belly pans been off judging by the state of the bolts. Sensor should be here tomorrow, garage will have the chance to fit Tuesday. Otherwise it’ll be me trying not to have the van land on my bonce! Have tried a couple of other things I’ve read about and will test drive later tonight. 🤞

                      • Table leg system fitted this morning. Need to work on a design for the table now and paint it. Then sort plugs for the mushroom bolt cut outs.

                              • Seb and I had a great day and night camping yesterday. Swimming, walks, bike rides, cooking, midnight ( 1930) forest walk and got buzzed by Nicolas Cage..Was absolutely Baltic for most of the day and then it rained.. He was so tired today he made me go to Crealy [emoji24]
