Upon return she changed again... firstly at the request of the Mrs to raise the van as she got car sick for the first time ever because it was low.

I got some 1200 springs a few months ago. Van jacked up, wheel off and found this...

Not good considering I had covered 1000 miles the two weeks previously.

Anyway spring replaced on the off side and this is the height difference

The sits high at the back now, so using a 27mm spanner it was time to raise the torsion bars at the front. There was 30mm of thread showing, now there is 75mm to match the front

Having gone high I decided I'm going for the swamper look... bit like the syncro.

Managed to get some original rear light guards, not in the best condition but nothing a blast and powder coating won't fix

Got them on the van now and like the look, just need to get them to the powder coaters.

Next on the list is black bumpers... managed to source a good black rear from a scrapyard and have had a blue front which I spent a day stripping back to black.

Really please with how it looks. I have more to get but that's for future posting.

Just need a front black upper grill now. Not sure what to do with the white bumpers, grills and possibly electric mirrors yet. Might sell them on to fund the rest of my plans

After my step dad made a drawer to go under the van ( that wasn't exactly what I asked for) I decided to adapt the retailer tent kitchen I bought months ago.

All measured up, across was perfect to fit rails. However there was a problem that it was too high.

All measured up and out came the angle grinder.... no injuries unlike last time

Fitted under the seats now. Unfortunately it's such a tight squeeze that I broke one of the runners.

Another pair ordered and some head scratching needed to solve the problem. I need about 2mm either side I reckon. However when it's a formed metal box I'm not too sure how I'm going to sort it yet

Had the van on the dyno yesterday with Luke @ Mpg Remaps outside of Uttoxeter yesterday.

God I wish I had one at home to play with !

Van put out two different numbers as I have a box which means I can change between different maps

                        Economical - 122bhp
                        Power - 137bhp

                        Very pleased with the result

Those are good figures from standyne injectors - well done!

I like your minimal camping setup, I'm considering ripping all my furniture out and doing similar with mine.

Are the l200 intercoolers better than the standard 102 set up? And can 102 injectors be fitted to an 88 without it being mapped?
